Here is something a bit different.   I played with the uncropped image of "Jeweled,"  and came up with this. 
You may also notice that it is more colorful. I traced the original image and rescanned so that I could color it in more easily. The original image had pencil shadings that made it more difficult.

Mandala

 

This image started out as a pencil
drawn image inspired by the opening
of a portable heating device, and
was enhanced with colors in
Photoshop Elements.

I couldn't decide which version I
liked better, so you get access
to both.

The word "mandala" came to me as
I was drawing it. I am not sure
if it is a mandala in the strictest
sense and definition, but I am
calling it that, any way. :)

After what happened with the last image,
I thought I would try something else.

I wasn't sure how I was going to draw
the feathers, but somehow I figured
out a way. Very exciting to have
something come out that I had no idea
how to do. :)

The final results came compliments of
Photoshop filters/effects.
