Ghent Belgium

This was an actual picture taken in daylight
in Ghent, Belgium that was scanned, and manipulated
to look like night in Photoshop Elements.
It is partly why it looks so surreal.

As beautiful as the scenery was, the
original picture didn't do it justice.

Cedonaah: Creating Moments One Image at a Time

Earth Waves

This image started out as an oil pastel,
and was manipulated in Photoshop Elements.

The title was meant as a play on words.
"Waves" as in a noun,
and
"Waves" as in a verb.

Cedonaah: Creating Moments One Image at a Time

Uniquely Qualified

This image started out as a
digital image of a some tiling
that I liked the look of.

When played with in Photoshop Elements
it took on a whole different feeling for me.
If you look closely, you will see a number
of shapes within the image.
Some are darker, some are lighter.

The lighter ones metaphorically
are those people who stand out
by virtue of who they are.

They are "uniquely qualified,"
which means they are different
than those around them.

You will also notice that each
one that is light, while similar,
is still different.

I realize this is quite a stretch,
and that is why this is most certainly
one of my more abstract works.

For someone who has spent their life
being different, it has a positive
spin on something that can often be
viewed in mostly negative ways...ie
"You don't fit in," "You're strange,"
and so on.

It can put a positive light on what
it means to be different and to stand out.
It also happens that many times those
who stand out are the ones who can lead.
They are the light in the darkness.

Perhaps you will relate.

Do You Know the Combination?

This image started out as a
digital image of a some tiling
that I liked the look of.

When played with in Photoshop Elements
it looked like a "cosmic safe" to me...
thus the name of the image.

Bursting at the Seams with Creativity

This image started out as a
digital image of a light covering.
The shape is essentially intact,
but the color and feel modified
with Photoshop Elements.

A-maze-ing

This image started out as a
small image that I just kept
building up and adding effects to.
You can't even tell what
it was when it started.

(Kinda the way life turns out sometimes,
don't you think?)

It tiles really well on your
computer desktop.

Happy Birthday

This image started out as a
digital image that was a
decorated birthday cake.
While it doesn't look anything
like what it originally did,
the title was maintained
because of what the original was/is,
as well as for its "party feel."

Moonlight Becomes

This image started out as a
digital image that wasn't
too clear. The finished
look came as a result of
playing around, and wasn't
the least bit intentional.

Transparent Love

The original pencil drawing was
actually long and narrow.
I used Photoshop to color and distort.

Noting Love Joy Peace

I am not sure if I am officially
"done" with this one yet...
but in the meantime,
version 1 is yours. :)

Mandala

This image started out as a pencil
drawn image inspired by the opening
of a portable heating device, and
was enhanced with colors in
Photoshop Elements.

I couldn't decide which version I
liked better, so you get access
to both.

The word "mandala" came to me as
I was drawing it. I am not sure
if it is a mandala in the strictest
sense and definition, but I am
calling it that, any way. :)
